Senior Lighting Technician
VJAM is on the hunt for a lighting superstar to join our team. The role will include planning, setting up, operating, and packing down small to large lighting systems for a multitude of events. When we’re not working with our clients on their events, you can find us in the warehouse, maintaining equipment, preparing shows and furthering skills to provide our clients cutting edge solutions.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:

Comprehensive skills and experience (minimum 5 years) in professional lighting services.

Good working knowledge of lighting equipment including:
-
Lighting network setup and distribution
-
Moving light fixtures - setting, addressing and troubleshooting
-
Intelligent lighting fixtures including LED technology and strobes etc.
-
Conventional lighting and lamp maintenance
-
System fault finding
-
-
Ability to operate market leading lighting consoles and associated programs. (MA lighting and Hog)
-
Ability to assemble, operate, test and adjust Lighting equipment according to project and client needs.

Ability to maintain Lighting equipment such as Fixtures, power distribution, dimmer, consoles (MA and Hog)
-
Experience in installing lighting equipment.

Experience in executing medium-to-high scale corporate projects.
-
Experience in event management is highly desirable.

Excellent customer service and communication skills to assist and advise clients on their event
-
Self-driven individual who can work productively and lead a team.
-
Experience working with touring shows and LD’s.
-
Ability to work well under pressure.
-
High standard of personal presentation.

This role may be required to assist across departments as required (AV, Audio Staging etc)

Warehouse Coordinator
VJAM is on the hunt for a warehouse coordinator. The role will include planning, preparing, loading, maintaining professional audio, video, staging and lighting system for a multitude of events. When we’re not working with our clients on their events, you can find us in the warehouse, maintaining equipment, preparing shows and furthering our skills to provide our clients cutting edge solutions.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:

Advanced warehousing

Basic skills with lighting, audio and video equipment a must.

Ability to assemble, operate, test and adjust Audio Visual equipment for testing prior to events/hire

Ability to maintain Audio Visual equipment such as projectors, screens, stage, lighting, sound systems etc.

Ability to maintain corporate records including quotes, and event documentation
-
Forklift license mandatory
-
Self-driven individual who can work productively and lead a team.

Ability to work well under pressure.

High standard of personal presentation.

Audio Visual Technician
VJAM is on the hunt for an AV superstar to join our team. The role will include planning, setting up, operating, and packing down small to large AV systems for a multitude of events. When we’re not working with our clients on their events, you can find us in the warehouse, maintaining equipment, preparing shows and furthering skills to provide our clients cutting edge solutions.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:

Advanced skills in installation, operation, troubleshoot of Audio Visual equipment. Basic skills with lighting equipment a must.

Ability to assemble, operate, test and adjust Audio Visual equipment according to project and client needs.

Ability to maintain Audio Visual equipment such as projectors, screens, stage, lighting, sound systems etc.

Experience in installing Audio Visual equipment.

Experience in the deployment and mapping of LED video walls is highly desirable

Experience in executing medium-to-high scale corporate projects.

Experience in event management is highly desirable.

Excellent customer service tactics and communication skills to assist and advise clients on operation of Audio Visual equipment.

Operation of Avid and Digico Audio consoles

Experience operating large sound systems (FOH and Monitors)

Experience in executing medium-to-high scale corporate projects.

Experience working with touring shows and engineers/TM’s.

Excellent customer service tactics and communication skills to assist and advise clients on operation of Audio Visual equipment.
